Granted, not all of
Channing Tatum’s are family friendly — I’m looking at you “Magic Mike” — but that hasn’t kept the actor from trying to show his work to his daughter, Everly.

They tried to show the four-year-old, “Step Up,” which is the film that Channing met his wife (and her mother) Jenna Dewan Tatum on. After 10 seconds, she had her review: “Can I watch a real movie now? Like a good one?”

“This is a real movie! This is such a real movie they made seven more of these,” he said.

Jimmy Kimmel offered some advice, if you want the kids to be interested, do an animated movie.

Channing is in. He says that his daughter doesn’t like it when he does “voices” so his plan is to do an animated movie and not tell her. He’s going to wait until it comes out, take her, and once she falls in love he’s going to rub it in her face.

He knows that may mean he’s got to pay for therapy, but it’s worth it.
