Now that Chip and Joanna Gaines have finished filming season 5 of “Fixer Upper,” they are living life to the fullest. For Chip, that apparently means getting really close to the action during a Baylor basketball game.

During Baylor’s game against Wichita State, Chip was sitting courtside when Nuni Omot, a 6-foot-9, 205-pound basketball player literally dove into Chip Gaines to try to save a ball from going out of bounds, and it was mildly terrifying (and hilarious) to watch.

Naturally, Chip got up and brushed it off, took off his hat and waved to the crowd (and showed off that freshly-shaved head). Unfortunately, Baylor lost 69-62, but hey, at least everyone at the game got to witness that, because WOW.
