According to multiple sources, Chris Soules’ spotless record was tarnished long before his appearance on “The Bachelor” and his current arrest for leaving the scene of a deadly accident.
Soules was arrested in 2001 for minor in possession of alcohol and again in 2002 for unlawful use of a license. He was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident once in 2002, but it was later amended. Soules also has seven speeding violations from 2000-2012.
The other glaring mark on his record is that Soules was arrested in 2005 for Operating While Intoxicated (Iowa’s term for DUI) after which he was fined $500, given a 60-day jail sentence, a 58-day suspended jail sentence and a year of probation.
Soules appeared in court and was released on a $10,000 bond.
