Celebrities are just like the rest of us. They get up in the morning and put their pants on one leg at a time. They drink their coffee and head off to work. They also had an unbearably awkward junior high phase. Usually, we hide and try to forget those years, but Stephen Colbert had a different idea: he would donate money to Puerto Rico hurricane relief every time a celebrity tweeted an teenage picture of themselves. Needless to say, the internet is now flooded with awkward pictures.

It all started with a challenge and support from Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dream Fund. It was a spur of the moment idea, but Stephen committed to give $1,000 for each picture.
