On the same day that Ed Sheeran took to the BBC1 Radio Lounge in London to cover Christina Aguilera‘s 2002 hit, “Dirrty,” Aguilera nailed her impersonation of Britney Spears on the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”

If you’re familiar with Aguilera’s body of work at all, you’ll recall that “Dirrty” is a vocally huge number (like most of her songs) and it’s also a very girly anthem that features a rap verse from Red Man. Sheeran nailed it. Both parts.

While Ed was across the pond performing the Aguilera hit, she was hanging out with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” playing Fallon‘s Wheel of Musical Impressions game. It’s a fun little game where you sing a silly song while impersonating an iconic singer with a distinct voice. Aguilera covered Cher, Shakira, and yes, Britney Spears. She delivered a breathy, baby talk, totally Britney version of “This Little Piggy” like we’ll never hear again. She might do Britney better than Britney.

Aguilera has recently returned to “The Voice” and will be featured on a three-episode arc of “Nashville” towards the end of season three.
