Martha Stewart Brings Her Own Hard-Boiled Eggs When She Goes On Airplanes

Oh, Martha. The celeb chef and homemaking guru shared in a recent interview with The New York Times that she brings some pretty weird things with her when she travels, including three iPads (yes, three), and her own hard-boiled eggs.

“I try to avoid plane food most of the time,” she said. “If it’s a long flight I’ll take some very good food that I know I’ll want to eat on the plane…my hard-boiled eggs are just so much better than any eggs on the plane. They’re from my own chickens– I take them for everybody I’m traveling with.”

She said she might also bring a smoked salmon sandwich– because who doesn’t want to be locked in steel chamber with the smell of hard-boiled eggs and salmon?

She also admitted to traveling with three iPads: One for books, one for TV shows, and one for movies. “I load them up with enough movies so that I have one per day. I don’t sleep well on land so I like to watch movies in the night. I have three because I’m always running out of space. I don’t like erasing all my movies.”

Seems a little extra, Martha.
