If “Game of Thrones” has done anything it has redefined fans’ expectations of when a character can and cannot die. George RR Martin has built a career on dashing the hopes of his fans, causing some to think he specifically targets fan favorites. There is no certainty that your favorite character will live past the opening credits of Season 7, which debuts in less than 10 days. But that shouldn’t keep you from speculating.

**HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD- READ AT YOUR OWN RISK**

Last chance before you end up like Sansa.

Between the wars, executions, and errant battles, the show has killed off more than 150,000 characters. Season 7 ups the ante by declaring the arrival of “The Great War”. Yikes, so now things are going to start getting brutal? Winter is coming and death is in her wake.

Boylesports recently put out their GoT Dead Pool odds and, man, nothing is very clear. The odds only cover the main characters, each of which is vulnerable in their own way.

Characters Who Will Die in Season 7

Ellaria Sand: 1/7
Euron Greyjoy: 1/5
Theon Greyjoy: 1/4
Petyr Baelish: 2/7
Melisandre: 1/2
Cersei Lannister: 5/6
Jamie Lannister: 11/4
Tyrion Lannister: 5/1
Jon Snow: 6/1
Daenerys Targaryen: 8/1

Danerys and Jon are safe while Cersei, Theon and Petyr are the most at risk. But let’s get real, this show rarely plays by the odds. We really don’t know. Remember the Red Wedding?

It is more interesting to look at the odds on who will go first, mostly because the Chief Weasel Petyr Baelish has a 50-50 shot of not only dying, but being the first to go.

Characters Who Will Die First in Season 7

Petyr Baelish: 1/1
Ellaria Sand: 4/1
Euron Greyjoy: 6/1
Gregor Clegane: 6/1
Melisandre: 7/1
Cersei Lannister: 8/1
Arya Stark: 10/1
Jaime Lannister: 12/1
Tyrion Lannister: 33/1
Jon Snow: 100/1
Daenerys Targaryen: 100/1

If that is the case, I bet a vengeful Stark will do the honors. Both Arya and Sansa have it out for him. Jon has no love for Baelish, but he is an ally and Jon’s sense of honor precludes him from killing the head of House Arryn. In this world, he who lives by honor, dies without it. Sorry, Ned.

Oddsshark.com has a more complete break down of survival odds, and seem to think Jaime will be the next to go.

I disagree and tend to think the Kingslayer will become a Queenslayer in a tragic turn of events. He did kill a king for threatening to blow up King’s Landing with wildfyre. Cersei actually did it.
