Looks like 2018 is going to be a fantastic year, folks! Erin and Ben Napier (and their little bun-in-the-oven) will return to our TV’s on January 8 for Season 2 of their hit show, “Home Town.”
Throughout the season, we’ll follow along as Erin and Ben take their clients to outdated properties that they can flip into gorgeous dream homes. In true Erin fashion, she’ll do watercolors for their clients showing them depictions of their new home– and if this color swatch is any indication of the style we can expect to see this season, I’m all for it.
Ben, a craftsman and wood worker, uses reclaimed materials from the original property to build new, unique pieces for their clients, like benches and backsplash.

These 3 boxes of 100 year old bead board were walls that came out of a house a few weeks ago. Tomorrow, they go back into the same house as a backsplash. Hopefully they’ll still be there in 100 more years. #grownandsawninmississippi #americanmademeansamericanpaid #americanmadeamericanpaid
When she originally announced their pregnancy in a heartfelt blog post, Erin shared that they kept their pregnancy a secret for as long as they did because it felt too important to share– but now, she’s excited to have viewers follow along her pregnancy journey throughout season 2.
“I am now almost 7 months pregnant, and it has been thankfully a healthy and easy pregnancy. The long hours of filming have been hard on my very tired body each day, and in the first trimester there were headaches daily but never morning sickness. I thanked God for it, and still do. She’s a girl and we will name her after my grandmother. My prayer for Helen is that she will be brave and kind. I pray that she will not be bullied the way I was, and that she will be a protector of the ones who are. I pray that she will learn that from her father, the protector who loves the people in his life so well.”
