Oscar winner and comedian (not really, but she should be) Jennifer Lawrence recently opened up about her Southern roots in an interview on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
In the interview, the two begin by discussing Jennifer’s down-to-earth personality and willingness to be an actual, relatable “human being,” as they put it. The conversation quickly spirals into Jennifer talking about her imperfections, puking (a lot), her publicist and then, her family, who happens to be from the great state of Kentucky.
The talented actress then talks about her family’s Southern twang and about how her accent disappeared long ago — unless, of course, she’s yelling, drinking or talking about sports.
