John Cena Took Nikki Bella’s DWTS Elimination Worse Than She Did: ‘She Gave It Her All’

During the Halloween episode of “Dancing With The Stars,” WWE star Nikki Bella was eliminated after her Jive performance with partner Artem Chigvinstev.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, John Cena admitted that he took the elimination harder than Nikki did.

“I thought she handled it great…I think I handled it worse,” he said. “When I heard she was eliminated, inside I’m shocked and I want to shake my fists at everything, but I have to tell her I think she danced so beautifully, she took risks, she really was bold, she had moments of humility,” he said. “She gave it her all.”

“I think when you put that much into something and it doesn’t work out the way you want, you still can’t have any regrets about it,” he said. “I was just constantly trying to tell her that message.”

The couple are in the process of planning their wedding, and John says we can expect their first dance to be impressive–well, at least from Nikki’s side.

“I know she’ll be good. I think I may just stand there and do like a teapot thing and let her do her stuff,” he said.
