Just a Reminder That Connie Britton Was in “A Nightmare on Elm Street” in 2010

Before Connie Britton was Rayna Jaymes, she was rubbing elbows with none other than Freddy Krueger himself. The “Nashville” star has come a long way since her role as “Nancy’s Mother” in the 2010 adaptation of “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” but we’ll never forget her tiny role in this sub-par horror film.

When watching this movie, it’s pretty obvious that you’re going to see a lot of gruesome deaths. I mean, approximately all of the characters in the movie die by the razor-sharp hand of Freddy Krueger. Some people get shredded, some people get split right down the middle, some people get sucked into their beds, some people get bent in half, but no death quite compares to that of Nancy’s mom’s death.

This one definitely takes the cake.

RIP Nancy’s Mom. We like Rayna Jaymes better anyway.
