Not that celebrity feuds are life or death situations by any stretch of the imagination, but if I was forced to choose a side and Taylor Swift is involved, I’ll probably choose her side. And not that Karlie Kloss was asked to choose a side, but maybe she was goaded into it and did. This particular feud happened to be the one with the baddest of blood between Katy Perry and Taylor.

Quick recap: Taylor and Karlie were the ultimate besties for a few years and when Taylor went dark in 2016, most of her friends also went mum. Also in 2016, Katy went on her apology tour and “bless her on her journey” tour, re: Taylor, but then released a track titled, “Swish Swish,” that was supposedly a response to “Bad Blood.”

So, the other day, Karlie posted a video to Instagram where she was “playing” basketball and captioned it, “swish swish.” Taylor’s fans went nutso in the comments. And I must say, as a former basketball player, I find the caption weird only because the video never shows her shooting any basketball balls, nor does it ever show a basketball net, the thing that makes the swish sound. However, I also found the caption to be pretty uninspired and an easy bucket, if you will (and you will). Was Karlie really trying to tell the world she’s no longer Team Taylor?

Also, is everything about Taylor? Actually, no. But, this is the Internet and after thousands of comments insinuating that Karlie was a traitor, a rat and Team Katy, the caption was changed to, “Nothing but net.” Which again, to me, proves that the caption really is about basketball and that possibly Karlie knows few basketball phrases and went with the first thing that came to her mind.

A Few Caption Favorites:

Still not sure it’s a common term, but sure. Canceled!

Honestly, same. She’s not even shooting!

This drama is hard to top.

I mean, is it? I don’t know.

LOL. Honest LOL.

Surely not. Surely Taylor is a little more understanding than that.

If they are dead, they can’t come to the phone anyway.

And yes, Karlie did post this super heartfelt, “Happy birthday, Taylor Swift” photo.
