During a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show” former First Lady Laura Bush and First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager sat down with Jimmy Fallon to discuss their new book,”Our Great Big Backyard.” The book celebrates 100 years of the National Park Service and follows a young girl and her family road tripping across the country to various parks.

Though the two started out discussing the book, the conversation took a hard left when they started discussing President George W. Bush’s somewhat recent interest in painting. And it got real interesting when they started making fun of his text messages and the period where he “only communicated through his art.”

They kind of made you forget he ran the world for 8 years.

Stars! And Presidents! They’re just like us.
