When Chip and Joanna Gaines announced that season 5 of HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” would be their last, they promised it was going to be their best season yet. They shared that a few celebrities would be making appearances throughout the season, including Tim Tebow and former first lady Laura Bush, but we had no details on what those appearances would entail.

Laura Bush finally made her appearance on the episode titled, “A Modern Cabin in the Country,” that aired on January 23, and while she didn’t pick up a hammer or tear down a wall, it was still everything we could’ve hoped for.

Joanna and her daughters visited the former first lady on her family’s tree farm in Crawford to pick out a red oak to go in the yard for the house they were renovating for their friend Jimmy Don Holmes, who has appeared in several episodes as a metalwork artist.

Bush shared a photo on her Twitter, saying: “Calling all #FixerUpper fans, especially you @JennaBushHager! Tune in to tonight’s show as @joannagaines joins me on our tree farm in Crawford to select a beautiful red oak for a lucky family’s new yard.”

Bush casually rolled up in a Ford truck like the boss she is, and the moment was so sweet– Joanna’s daughters were as cute (and polite) as ever.

The #FixerUpper Twitterverse was certainly excited to see Bush on the show:

No word on when we’ll get a glimpse of Tim Tebow, but it has to be soon as the season will be over before we know it!
