If you’ll remember, last year during Taylor Swift‘s 1989 tour, the 26-year-old pop icon would surprise fans and concert-goers with special guests — it was a big thing.
Throughout the nearly year-long tour, Taylor had guests like Sam Hunt, Keith Urban, Ellie Goulding, Nelly, Justin Timberlake, Steven Tyler, Miranda Lambert, Selena Gomez, Mick Jagger and countless others share the stage with her.
Here’s a refresher.
Well, while Taylor typically invited fellow-musicians to be her surprise guests, every once in a while she would share the stage with people like the U.S. women’s soccer team, her #GirlSquad and… Matt LeBlanc?
Yup. Apparently, Matt took his daughter to one of the 1989 tour stops and somehow ended up on stage with Taylor, a male model and Chris Rock, who was also there with his daughter.
During his most recent visit on “Conan,” Matt shared the story, saying he hoped it would impress his daughter — or at least boost his “cool dad points.” But, as it turns out, his daughter just thought he looked “cheesy” on stage and was totally unfazed by the whole thing.
“The next morning we’re having breakfast, you know, just her and I watching the news or ‘My Little Pony’ or whatever it was,” Matt said. “And I say, ‘So, your dad, last night on stage with Taylor Swift… Pretty cool, what do you think?’ and she goes, ‘Ahhh… I think your walk was cheesy.'”
I mean, after the walk he gave on stage, I’m not sure I would have reacted much different — LOL.
