One time, I was in the same room as Connie Britton (Rayna James) and I was moved to tears just by the mere sight of her. She was about 100 yards away, but still– I’m a big fan. I’m a big fan of Connie, but also of “Nashville,” at least– I thought I was a big fan.

Enter: Andrea Richeson of New York, fan of “Nashville” and LEGO Digital Designer (a program you can find online). This past winter Richeson decided to pass the time building the set(s) of “Nashville” with real LEGO bricks. So, she did. Like, big time.

Richeson created “Nashville Rebricked” to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raising $17,000 so far. The project, Richeson hopes will also raise awareness for the LLS Light the Night Walk on October 9. Chip Esten (Deacon Claybourne) will serve as the National Light the Night honorary chair.
