Just when you thought the hosts for “The View” were here to stay (did we really though?), they go and change the lineup again.

After the departure of Jedidiah Bila, the only conservative voice on the show, the daytime talk show revealed that Meghan McCain will become the newest woman to join the table. McCain, the daughter of Arizona Senator John McCain, will join hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sarah Haines and Paula Farris for Season 21.

“I’m excited to be here,” McCain told the hosts on her first day. “I’m in a different place in my life right now in a lot of different ways, personally. It’s interesting to me to come on this show, because I’ve been binge-watching the show like crazy, to talk to all of you. You’re all so intelligent and capable and smart and have such interesting lives, I hope I can live up to what you have already created for the past 21 years.”

The newest member to the table also said her platform will be to raise awareness about brain cancer, something that her father is currently fighting. Make no mistake, we will surely get to know McCain’s political views better, seeing that that’s what they do on “The View.”

McCain’s proud father took to Twitter as his daughter was on the air, to congratulate her on her first day saying, “Watching @MeghanMcCain‘s first day on @TheView @ABC – we are very proud!”
