Mila Kunis may have starred in “Bad Moms,” but, in reality, she is anything but.
Both she and husband Ashton Kutcher put a lot of thought and effort into raising their daughter to be a good, honest person. Before they even had kids, the couple discussed the kind of techniques they could employee to instill good values into their children.
“The one topic of conversation we had even prior to ever having kids was always, ‘How do you raise a child to not be an asshole?'” she said on the Sydney, Australia-based radio podcast The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Mila also discussed her humble upbringing and her desire for her kids to understand the true value of a dollar.
“It’s so important because we both came from pretty solid poverty backgrounds and grew up very poor and are very much self-made and are very aware of what a dollar is worth,” she said. “Nothing’s been handed to us.”
While she says her kids will never have “ketchup soup for dinner,” the 32-year-old talent does want them to have an “I’m not entitled to anything” mentality.
“It’s a matter of teaching them from a very early age that, you know, ‘Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you’re poor,'” she joked. “‘You are very poor, you have nothing. Mommy and Daddy have a bank account.'”
