Oprah Hopes We Can All Accept Her as the ‘Three-Handed Woman That She Is’ After Vanity Fair Cover Fiasco

-

In case you missed it (which, I’m not sure how you would’ve), Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey both recently fell victim to a poor photoshop job from Vanity FairVanity Fair, and it was one of the greatest things to happen to the Internet in 2018 so far.

Reese was given what appeared to be a third leg while Oprah was given an extra hand— which, if you’re Oprah, could come in handy when it comes to giving away cars.

Oprah and Reese had some funny Tweets to each other following the release of the cover, and both women have had a great sense of humor about the whole situation– but the questions haven’t stopped. Oprah recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about her new Disney movie, “A Wrinkle in Time,” and of course the conversation of her third hand came up.

“I’ve been trying to keep that a secret all these years, and I was hoping that you could accept me as the three-handed woman that I am,” she joked with Jimmy. To make the whole situation even funnier, she didn’t realize she was given a third hand until she got on social media. The photographer from Vanity Fair, Annie Leibovitz, of course tried to apologize to Oprah, and Oprah said, “It’s OK Annie, it’s alright that I have a third hand.”

“Thank God Annie Leibovitz isn’t doing surgery,” Jimmy replied. I mean, fair.
