‘The Voice’ Stands With The Victims Of The Las Vegas Shooting And Hopes In The Healing Power Of Music

The blind auditions of “The Voice” are prerecorded; they could not change their show or create a more somber attitude in the intro. So, instead, they released a brief statement on their Instagram account concerning the events in Las Vegas and their hope in a brighter future.

There was probably no way for all of the judges to film something. Miley Cyrus was on the other side of the country on “The Tonight Show.”

The statement said they are “profoundly shaken”, but hope the inspirational , healing, and comforting power of music will lead us to move forward.

#TheVoice is on tonight at 8/7c.
