Finally, an episode of “This Is Us” that is relatable to people who aren’t emotional wrecks 24 hours a day. And of course, it’s a Halloween episode, that dreaded holiday that forces families to decide on a candy game plan before walking out the door– it can make you or break you.
This episode finds us flashing back to The Big Three in their ’20s, just “crushing it.” We learn a little more about Randall’s backstory and his breakdown, Kate before Kevin got his big break and how Miguel came back into Rebecca’s life.
Of course, the realest moment in the entire episode revolved around, you guessed it– Facebook. Oh, Facebook. And, yet again, the Internet had a lot of sad and hilarious things to say about the episode. People really don’t like Miguel. Or do they?
Mandy Moore did deliver this episode. Expect her happy/sad scene to be in EMMY talks this coming year.
“That’s just something I’m going to have to deal with the rest of my life — the happiest moments will also be a little sad.” Boom.
