Tim Tebow is, bafflingly, a polarizing figure. The man is an undisputedly good dude who brings joy to those around him. He is a good athlete and works his tail off, but he’s not the best player on his team, much less the league. To those who love him, those are not mutually exclusive terms. You can like him without thinking he’s good at sports and there are many good Christians who are better at sports than him. In the grand scheme of things, athletic prowess means very little. For those who dislike him, get over it. If you need more proof that he is a benefit to society, you should watch this video.
“That’s something, to hear him say your name,” Grandma Margaret said.
I mean, c’mon!
Saying he is a likable guy who makes elderly women’s day is not hard or controversial. Maybe you’re an SEC football fan and Tebow beat your team around a decade ago who hates sweet grandmothers. If that’s the case, you know, get off the couch and work on your priorities, man.
