Chosen as Faith Hill’s replacement at the beginning of the 2013 NFL season to sing, “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,” Carrie Underwood is an ideal ambassador for the NFL.

Why?

Carrie appeals to the masses

Just look at her! Underwood is honestly one of those girls that guys love and girls adore. Women will, gladly, watch a game for a glimpse of Underwood each Sunday.

Cutting edge style

Again, this is a mass appeal thing. She can dress up or down and people love her style. When she was asked to perform the famous Sunday night song she told CMT.com, “ I wanted to perform in something I would watch a game in, you know what I mean? So that was important to me to be myself and be relatable and to be a girl who loves the game.”

She’s from Oklahoma

People in Oklahoma are pretty serious about their football. Meaning, you can actually imagine that Underwood has watched a game or two– maybe even on her own! She grew up watching the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs and loves a good tailgate. Who doesn’t?!

That’s enough for us. We’re sold on the NFL and Carrie.
