Big Smo, homegrown in Tennessee and the self-proclaimed Boss of the Stix, has a brand new lyric video for his latest hit, “Rednecks Got It Right.”

This jam is  off of Big Smo’s most recent Bringin’ It Home EP and features Haden Carpenter.

After launching his music career on YouTube, Smo has now joined forces with Warner Brothers Records to release his first major label album, Kuntry Livin’.  The album includes 13 tracks that give you an inside look into the mind and music of Big Smo. Collaborating on some of the tracks are songwriters Casey Beathard, Rhett Akins and Jim Beavers, singer Shelly Fairchild and musicians including Charlie Worsham, Jimmy Stewart, David Yudkin and Lynyrd Skynyrd‘s Peter Keys.

Smo contributes his success to an honest, humble lifestyle.

“You can tell when something’s real,” says Big Smo. “You can tell when it’s true. And I think what’s made us successful and gotten us this far is that we’re just real people, down-home country folk who really love to make music. People see that.”

Following his album release, Smo also debuted on an A&E original series called, “Big Smo,” centered on the country rapper. The series profiles Smo’s career, the friends, fans and family who share his journey and life on his 32-acre farm in Tennessee.
