What’s better than a romantic dessert of chocolate covered strawberries? Chocolate covered strawberries in brownie form, of course!

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1 1/2 cup strawberries, halved
  • 2 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare brownie batter according to pack instructions, then pour batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake according to package instructions (about 20 minutes), then let cool.
  4. Top with strawberry slices.
  5. Place chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl and set aside.
  6. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Once it bubbles on the edge, turn off the heat.
  8. Pour hot cream over chocolate chips and let sit for 5 minutes.
  9. Whisk completely until smooth, then pour over the strawberry layer.
  10. Refrigerate brownies until ganache has set (about 15 minutes).
  11. Slice into squares and serve cold!
