How To Make Chocolate-Dipped Pretzel Sticks For Your Next Holiday Party

Every year around the holidays, my husband and I get invited to cookie exchanges and Christmas parties where we’re asked to bring a sweet to share and every year, I have no idea what to bake. I love to cook, but baking has never been my strong suit. Usually I opt for a simple cookie recipe or brownie, but this year I wanted to switch things up.

Enter: Chocolate dipped pretzel sticks. They’re so easy to make and you can dress them up to taste!

How To Make Chocolate-Dipped Pretzel Sticks:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 24 pretzel rods
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes (or toppings of choice)
  • Festive sprinkles
Directions:
Melt semisweet chocolate chips in one bowl, and white chocolate chips in another. Stir a tablespoon of coconut oil into each bowl, then put in crushed candy canes and sprinkles (or other toppings) in two separate shallow bowls (to roll the rods in). Take your pretzel rods and dip the ends in the chocolate of your choice, then immediately roll it in the topping mixture, keeping the semisweet chocolate chip-rolled pretzels and white chocolate chip-rolled pretzels separate. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the rods on the sheet. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate has set!
