I think we can all agree that cookie dough is kind of the best, right? As a kid, licking the spoon and bowl after my mom made a batch of chocolate chip cookies was the best. And actually, it’s still the best– but eating raw eggs is ill-advised (as my mother would always make very clear), so eating it spoonful after spoonful isn’t an option.

Enter: Edible Cookie Dough. It’s so easy to make and only requires a few ingredients (none of which are eggs), so you can snack (somewhat) guilt-free. The recipe comes with a disclaimer that it makes “a lot of cookie dough,” so if you can’t champion it down in one sitting, be sure to put it in a sealed container and keep it refrigerated!

How To Make Edible Cookie Dough:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cup crushed graham cracker
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric until light and fluffy. Mix in the graham cracker, milk and salt, and fold in the chocolate chips. Keep refrigerated and enjoy!
