We’ve always been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Since we have to indulge ourselves daily, may as well make it as simple as possible! Luckily, there are some genius tricks to help make mornings quick and tasty.
15 Breakfast Hacks Everyone Should Know:
1. Waffle iron frozen hash browns.
Simply spray your waffle iron with cooking spray and heat to the highest setting. Throw on thawed hash browns and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
2. Scramble eggs in a mason jar.
Whisk 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon milk, salt and pepper in a mason jar. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, microwave again for 30 seconds. Done.
3. Cook bacon in the oven for quick cleanup.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spread bacon strips on top. Bake at 400 degrees until crisp. Toss the foil in the trash for easy cleanup!
4. Cook bacon in the microwave for quick eating.
Line a microwave-safe plate with paper towels. Place bacon in an even layer on the towels without overlapping. Cover with another layer of paper towels. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
5. Prevent bacon shrinkage.
Shock your bacon strips in ice-cold water to keep it big during the cooking process. Pat it dry before putting it in the pan, or there will be trouble. And possibly a fire.
6. Poach eggs in the oven.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour 1 tablespoon of water in each of muffin tin and gently crack 1 egg into each cup. (If you are poaching 3 eggs, fill 3 cups.) Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, until the whites are set by the yolks are still runny.

No really, it is easy! All it takes is 1 cup of sugar, 2/3 cups of water, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Simmer for 3 minutes over medium-high heat.
8. Make yogurt popsicles. No molds needed!
Slice small slits in the tops, insert popsicle sticks and freeze overnight. Remove from yogurt cup and you have breakfast! You could even roll it in granola if you wanted to.
9. Make you own coffee creamer substitute.
Forgot to pick up the creamer? No problem! Just add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter to your coffee and you will have frothy, creamy coffee in 3 seconds flat.
10. Coffee ice cubes prevent watery iced coffee.
Freeze leftover coffee into ice cubes to prevent watered-down cold coffee.
11. Check the freshness of your eggs.
Float your eggs in water to see if they are fresh. Place an egg in a cup of cold water. If it sinks, it’s fresh; if it floats, it isn’t.
12. DIY breakfast sausage is easy to make.
Sausage patties are just ground pork with added seasonings. To make your own, mix 1 pound of ground pork with 1 teaspoon each of poultry seasoning and salt, form into patties and pan fry.
13. Make your own pancake batter dispenser.
Just transfer pancake mix into an empty and clean ketchup bottle. Each squeeze will extract just the right amount of batter for 1 pancake. Plus, the kids think it’s pretty cool!
14. Use biscuit dough to make your own donuts.
Cut holes out of the dough and fry at 350 degrees until brown. Dip in powdered sugar, or make your own glaze.
15. Grate butter for easy spreading.
Trying to spread cold butter on toast is a disaster. Grate the butter instead for a quick melt.
