Whether you are a mom or you have one, you know there are things that moms say every single day. It’s almost like their life is on repeat. The things they say are mom specific and cross all demographics of moms. No child is safe from these words, phrases and one-liners. If you haven’t heard them all, you’ve probably heard at least 99.9% of them once in your life.

37 Things Moms Say Every Day: 

1. “Shut. The. Door.”

2. “You weren’t born in a barn.” (this is usually used in direct relation to #1.)

3. “Bring back the change.”

4. “That dress/skirt/pair of shorts is too short.”

5. “You aren’t leaving the house in that.”



6. “Eat your dinner, there are plenty of hungry kids who would love to have a plate of brussels sprouts.”

7. “Is your homework done?”

8. “Did you brush your teeth? You don’t want to be known as the kid with bad breath.”
