If you are looking to take home the award for best Grammy party, you are in the right place. We thought it would be fun to do drink recipes that are not only easy, but also inspired by the nominated artists. We have a little something for everyone from milkshakes to cocktails so pick your poisons and enjoy the Grammys. They only come around once a year!

Song of the Year Nominee: “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift

It seemed fitting for a shake to be the drink for this nominee. If you prefer something boozy, add a shot of vodka.

Cookies and Cream Milkshake

Ingredients:

2 scoops vanilla ice cream

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

4 cream stuffed chocolate cookies

1/4 cup whipped cream

Directions:

Blend ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, and chocolate sandwich cookies in a blender until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses and top with whipped cream.

Best Solo Performance: “Something in the Water” by Carrie Underwood

We chose blueberry infused water for Carrie Underwood, you know because she’s expecting and all. If you want to add a little something in your water, may as well be antioxidant packed blueberries! (plus, the blue is a perfect representation of a baby boy!)

Blueberry-Orange Infused Water

Ingredients:

Water

Blueberries

Orange, sliced

Directions:

Add the fresh, rinsed berries and orange slices to a mason jar. Fill to the top with fresh, filtered water and securely screw on the lid and store in the refrigerator until ready to drink. Garnish with fresh mint, if desired.

Tip: When water is gone, put the blueberries in the freezer to throw in a smoothie later.

Best New Artist: Iggy Azalea

We have to represent Iggy’s first hit, “Fancy” which catapulted her to stardom. The recipe we chose is:

Fancy Whiskey

Ingredients:

2 ounces whiskey

1/2 ounce sugar

1/2 ounce triple sec

Dash of bitters

Orange slice and maraschino cherries for garnish

Directions:

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

Shake well.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with the orange slice and cherry to make it extra fancy.

Best Country Album: Platinum by Miranda Lambert

This one was easy! This year is all about platinum for Miranda so we chose the Platinum Blond cocktail for her. Perfect, don’t you think?

Platinum Blond Cocktail

Ingredients:

2 parts light rum

2 parts Triple Sec

1 part cream

Directions:

Fill shaker with ice. Add ingredients. Shake well, serve in a cocktail glass. Garnish with fruit as desired.

Best Country Duo/Group Performance: “Gentle on My Mind” by The Band Perry

We chose the Island Breeze cocktail for this category. Who doesn’t have the beach on their mind this time of year?

Island Breeze

Ingredients:

4 oz. pineapple juice

1.5 oz. rum

1 oz. cranberry juice

2 dashes bitters

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a tall glass with ice, and garnish with a lime wedge.

Enjoy!
