6 Must-Try Apple Cider Cocktails

An apple a day keeps the doctor away? (Scientific info to back up this theory: Apples contain an antioxidant called quercetin, which helps boost your immune system. They’re also loaded with fiber and because fiber helps you feel full, apples can be a great (and delicious!) part of a plan to lose weight.)

It is fall and apples are really good for you, so break out those glasses and enjoy these apple cider cocktail recipes!

1. Apple Spice Sangria

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups Apple cider

1 bottle Pinot grigio

½ cup Brandy

1 cup Club soda

3 Pears, chopped

3 Apples, chopped

Ground Cinnamon

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir. Let chill in refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve in glass and top with ground cinnamon.

2. Apple Cider Margarita

Ingredients:

2 ounces Tequila

½ ounce Grand Marnier

½ ounce Cointreau

2 ounces Apple cider

1 teaspoon Agave nectar

2 ounces Sparkling apple cider, chilled

½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Apple slices

¾ teaspoon Sea salt

Directions:

Mix sea salt and cinnamon in a small bowl, then rim margarita glasses with the sea salt/cinnamon. Pour tequila, Grand Marnier, Cointreau, apple cider, and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. (Note: do not add sparkling apple cider just yet.) Shake vigorously, pour into glasses, and top with sparkling cider.

3. Apple Cider Sparkle

Ingredients:

4 ounces Asti sparkling wine

3.5 ounces Apple cider

¾ ounce St. Germain

1 ounce Club soda

4 Ice cubes

Apple slices

Directions:

Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Pour into glass and garnish with apple slices.

4. Hot Caramel Apple Cider Delight

Ingredients:

8 ounces Apple Cider

4 ounces Caramel vodka

2 teaspoons Cinnamon

Brown sugar

Directions:

Mix cider and cinnamon in a sauce pan on medium high heat until it simmers. Reduce heat and add vodka. Stir frequently. As soon as the liquid starts to steam remove from heat so alcohol is not cooked out. Serve in mugs rimmed with brown sugar.

5. Raz-Apple Cider Hot Toddy

Ingredients:

1 ½ ounces Rum

1 cup Apple cider

1 teaspoon Chambord

1 ounce Raspberry syrup

3 Whole cloves

¾ teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Whipped Cream

Directions:

Heat raspberry syrup, cider, cloves and cinnamon in a small saucepan. When the liquid is simmering and steam starts to rise, remove cloves from saucepan. Pour beverage into a coffee mug, add rum, and top with whipped cream.

6. Snakebite

Ingredients:

1 Hard apple cider

1 ounce Lager

Directions:

Pour hard cider into a glass, then slowly pour lager over the back of a spoon into the cider.
