There’s a reason almost every country music song in the last 25 years references a truck. There’s just something about a truck. And that’s because there’s more than one thing you can only do in a truck. Think about it. How much trouble (the good kind) can you really get into in your grandmother’s four-door tuna boat? Not near as much as you can in a truck.
6 Things You Can Only Do in a Truck:
1. You can be a better friend.
Why? You can help your friends move. It’s painful, but true. People who drive trucks have more friends, too. People with cars have friends, too, but they can’t carry as many of them around town in their car.
2. You can get stuck in the mud somewhere, but only after you’ve driven through it several times.
If you go muddin’ in a car, you won’t make it into the mud, much less out.
3. You can host a tailgate.
Cars don’t even have tailgates.
4. You can haul a boat.
How many tiny two-door cars have you ever seen backing into the water?
5. You can be just like your dad or grandmother or favorite uncle.
One of them definitely drove a truck.
6. You can explore this beautiful country.
Sure, you can explore in a car, but a truck comes with a built-in bed, which allows you to sleep out under the stars instead of in a hotel room with a popcorn-ceiling.
What are some other things you can only do in a truck? These are the things memories are made of. Ram Trucks wants to hear your stories that you would like to pass along to the next generation. You can share your story and possibly be featured in the #RamTravellerStories video series. We proudly present this post, sponsored by our friends at Ram Trucks.
