Despite leaving their hit HGTV show, “Fixer Upper,” Chip and Joanna Gaines have remained as busy as ever. Between their Magnolia Table restaurant, the silos, Magnolia Market, their home goods line at Target— oh, and welcoming their fifth baby into the world.
Crew Gaines joined the family in June.
“It woke me up a little bit,” Joanna said in the latest issue of People. “Life was doing its thing, and this baby — typically you feel tired, but this baby, he’s just like my second wind,” she said.
Shockingly enough, Chip and Joanna both say a sixth baby isn’t off the table. In fact, it’s a hope.
“I think we have to have another one because I’m particular about the only child thing,” Chip said. “Crew needs a sister to manage this whole thing out. Don’t be surprised if No. 6 is in the cards!”
“I love the labor part,” she said. “This is the moment we get to meet this little baby. It’s so much fun. I want to do it again.”
As for what they’re doing without HGTV cameras following them around, Joanna says they’re simply enjoying living their lives.
“We are just really enjoying this sweet season with a newborn and going to the office every day doing the things that we love,” Joanna said.
