Chip and Joanna Gaines Took a Vacation to Florence and Slept for 15 Hours Straight After Filming the Final Episode of “Fixer Upper”

-

After wrapping up the shoot for their very last episode of “Fixer Upper,” Chip and Joanna Gaines hopped on a plane and headed to Florence, Italy for some serious rest and relaxation.

In an Instagram post, Joanna shared that she and Chip accidentally slept through breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon of shopping with friends because they slept for 15 hours straight after arriving– and I mean, can you really blame them?

The two also had the chance to ride Vespa scooters throughout the city in matching red helmets.

On November 2, the couple had their final home reveal, and Joanna shared a sweet picture of the two walking up to those famous rolling boards to reveal their final fixer upper.

“Today was the final reveal…We definitely felt the emotion behind each of those steps leading up to the big canvas. We love you Fixer Upper. Season premieres on November 21. #SavedTheBestSeasonForLast,” she captioned the post.

Following this, their colleagues, friends and family were waiting for them at the Magnolia Market headquarters with balloons, cheers and lots of celebration– and it’s seriously the sweetest thing ever. There’s even sirens.

The final season of “Fixer Upper” airs on HGTV on November 21, and we can’t wait to see what all they have in store! We do know that both Tim Tebow and the former first lady Barbara Bush will be making appearances.
