Chip Gaines Launches Second “Chip-Starter” to Help Someone Realize Their Dream— And It Could Be You

-

It’s safe to say that everyone has a dream of some kind. Unfortunately, most people never get to realize their dreams because life simply gets in the way. Lack of resources, funds and support often keep people from being able to get their dreams and goals off the ground— but Chip Gaines wants to change that.

Last year, Chip ran his “Chip-Starter” for the first time, selecting 6 lucky winners out of 2,700 submissions to help bring their dreams to life. Since then, he’s helped a military vet go to photography school, got a baseball bat company certified with the MLB and helped purchase a home as a “safe spot” for young men to hang out in a high-poverty, high-crime area.

Now, he’s back for round two and, along with offering up support to help the winners achieve their dreams, finalists (as many as Chip chooses) will be flown to Waco, Texas, for this year’s Silobration on October 19-20.

According to the Chip-Starter website, you must film yourself explaining your dream, how much money you’d need to accomplish it, and the specific action points you’d take to get there. You then upload your video and follow the instructions listed here. Just be sure submit your video between September 4th at 10:00 am CT to September 10th at 11:59 pm CT for the chance to win!

“The idea to launch Chipstarter was an easy decision after that. He’s all about pushing people toward their goals and removing all of the hurdles that stand in their way. Chip wants to help your dreams take off, and this is his way of doing just that,” the website reads.
