When you’re in the spotlight, it’s inevitable that there will be false stories circulated about you and your work— but for HGTV’s Christina El Moussa, the latest story regarding her and Joanna Gaines was taken too far.

Christina took to Instagram to share a shot of a story published in In Touch Magazine with a headline reading, “HGTV’s Joanna and Christina: It’s War.” Beneath the headline was a sentence reading, “Just as Flip or Flop’s Christina El Moussa expands her brand, Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines announces she’s returning to TV.”

Fans will recall that Chip and Joanna recently announced their return to television with their own network after leaving Fixer Upper.

“What a load of bulls***,” Christina started. “I’ve never commented on a tabloid EVER (and have swallowed a load of s*** from these tabloids). In Touch magazine, this is disgusting. I have always been a huge supporter of female entrepreneurs… #girlboss is my motto. Nothing but respect for Joanna Gaines.”

Shortly after finalizing her divorce from her fellow “Flip or Flop” co-host Tarek El Moussa, Christina announced that she’d be getting her own HGTV design show, “Christina on the Coast.”

She also announced that she’s opening drug and alcohol rehab centers alongside her friend Cassie Zebisch and her pastor, Tim Storey.

“When I met Tim, we realized there was an opportunity for us to change people’s lives,” she said. “I love to fix up a house, but I also love to help people. I feel like that’s my calling.”
