“Flip or Flop’s” Christina El Moussa is Opening Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers Inspired By Her Hardest Days: “I Feel Like That’s My Calling”

When hardship strikes, it’s not always easy to find good in the situation— but “Flip or Flop’s” Christina El Moussa is here to change that.

Christina and her “Flip or Flop” co-host Tarek El Moussa went through a messy divorce in 2016 where drugs and alcohol were involved. Tarek has even openly spoken up about how prescription medications and steroids negatively impacted his relationship with Christina leading up to their divorce.

Now, according to People, Christina is now using her experience to help others by opening up drug and alcohol rehab centers next year, all inspired by the help she had.

“Two years ago I was focused on trying not to sink,” she said. “But after I started exercising, eating right, surrounding myself with the correct people, I felt this switch.”

Christina will reportedly be opening the centers alongside her friend, Cassie Zebisch, and her pastor, Tim Storey, who provided her with guidance throughout her divorce from Tarek.

“When I met Tim, we realized there was an opportunity for us to change people’s lives,” she said. “I love to fix up a house, but I also love to help people. I feel like that’s my calling.”
