You’ve spent the last few weeks
prepping for that Spring Break bod so why waste all your calories on a few daiquiris once you hit the beach? Skip the pre-made margarita mix and lay next the pool with a refreshing drink that you won’t have to spend the next 6 weeks working it off in the gym. Here are a few fun summery drinks that don’t break the calorie budget.

4 Healthy Spring Break Cocktail Recipes:

1. MARGARITAS

Ingredients:

1/4 cup tequila

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

1 1/2 tablespoons agave nectar

Half a can of flavored water (such as LaCroix)

Ice

Directions:

Start by choosing a good flavored water (I highly recommend the LaCroix Peach-Pear). Shake the tequila, lime juice, agave nectar and flavored water. Pour over ice.

2. COSMO

Ingredients:

1 shot of citrus-flavored vodka

1 splash of club soda

1 splash of cranberry juice

1 tablespoon of lime juice

Directions:

Combine ingredients and shake. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

3. MOJITO

Ingredients:

6 Lime Wedges

1 1/2 tablespoons of lime juice

2 tablespoons of fresh mint leaves

1/2 teaspoon of honey

1 shot of rum 1/4 cup of club soda Ice

Directions:

Add lime wedges, lime juice and mint leaves to a glass and smash them until they’re fragrant. Warm the honey, then combine it with the rum and club soda until dissolved. Combine the honey mixture with the lime wedges, mint leaves and ice. Chill for five minutes before drinking.

4. SANGRIA

1 Bottle of white wine

1 Apple

1 Orange

1 can of diet lime soda

Directions:

Slice the apple and orange. Combine liquids and fruit. Chill mixture and serve over ice.
