JJ Watt, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year and defensive end for the Houston Texans has taken his seemingly super powers off the field.

Playing the part of “Batman” for the Texas Children’s Hospital “Spirit of Halloween,” Watt painted pumpkins with the kids, signed autographs, gave out hugs and took pictures– all as the Caped Crusader.

Seeing a guy like Watt dress up for kids is awesome. No matter how tough he is on the field he’s not too tough to give back.

Watch the full feature on his surprise this Sunday (10/18) on NBC’s The Today Show at 7-8 a.m. (CT).
