With parents like Chip and Joanna Gaines, it’s easy to see how you’d have a knack for creating beautiful things— and as it turns out, Chip and Joanna’s daughter Ella is already following in her mama’s footsteps.
Joanna took to her Instagram to share a photo of Ella’s copy of her new design book, Homebody, filled with pink Post-It notes earmarking important pages. “I found Ella’s copy of Homebody yesterday and my heart melted when I saw all the notes she had taken and all the pages she had marked as her favorites,” Joanna said.
She also shared a snapshot of the back of the book, which includes a blank blueprint to sketch out your own designs.
“The best part was that she used the back of the book to design a bedroom and bath based on the notes she had taken!! She marked her style as “modern boho”. These are the moments that make all the work on this project worth it.”
Chip and Joanna recently shared the news that they’d be returning to television with their very own network after leaving their HGTV show, “Fixer Upper,” saying viewers would get to see more of their sweet kids.
“We signed a non-disclosure and it said, quote-unquote, you can tell your mother but that’s it,” Chip told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “So mom, I just wanted to make a quick announcement, we are coming back to television. You are going to get to see the kids grow up, you are going to see us, well maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we are excited to be back.”
