John Rich’s Nashville Home Comes Complete With Guitar-Shaped Toilet Lids

During a recent segment of “At Home TODAY,” John Rich gave Jill Martin a tour of his home (aptly nicknamed “Mt. Richmore”) and it is honestly something you have to see to believe.

According to TODAY, the estate is completely tailored to John Rich and his personal taste and hobbies. In fact, the house comes complete with a concert stage and a guitar-shaped swimming pool– oh, and guitar-shaped toilet lids. Yes, for real.

“I want people to get a smile on their face no matter where they’re at in this house,” he told TODAY. “I’ll just listen for the laugh — that’s how I know you saw it.”

The guitar shaped pool is equally as impressive. According to Rich, it was modeled after the Gibson J-200 jumbo guitar. (P.S. The headstock is a hot tub!)

You can even take a virtual tour of his in-home bar, and get a glimpse of that concert stage I mentioned before.

John Rich says that the house is a symbol of the hard work he’s put in over the years and the success he’s been able to achieve because of it.

“There’s a lot of people that write a lot of great music and that are great singers that don’t ever really achieve big success because for whatever reason, it didn’t work out for them,” he said. “And for me, it worked out. So I like to be able to look right back at the place that built it.”
