Jordan Leandre is a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, a high school baseball pitcher, a cancer survivor and the guy who threw out a ceremonial first pitch that hit a photographer right down the middle– yeah, right there. Right where you don’t want to get hit.

Leandre was on-hand to throw out the pitch with most of the 1967 Red Sox team and Mike Andrews behind the plate. Leandre has sang the National Anthem at Fenway Park, run the bases at the famed stadium and appeared in “Fever Pitch.” His return to Fenway Park as a cancer survivor had to be memorable and boy, was it!

The video says it all, but so do the tweets that followed– including thoughts from the guy he nailed.
