Jordanne Barr and Jordan Adamczyke were attending the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival when a lone gunman began to fire shots into the crowd. Barr was shot in the arm and the side. Her fiancé, Adamczyke, shielded her body with his own until they could find help. After months of healing, the couple received some good news: they were getting their dream wedding for free.

The Fairy Godmother Foundation offered to foot the entire bill for the couple. Everything from the gown to the venue, catering, and flowers will be completely covered. But what truly matters to them is that they will spend the rest of their lives together.

“Having gone through this together we know that we can get through anything together,” Barr said. “Whatever comes our way we’ll be strong enough to overcome it.”
