As we prepare our souls for the final season of “Fixer Upper,” it’s important to acknowledge that there are other shows out there that can mend our shiplap-loving hearts. HGTV and the DIY Network have lots of new seasons of our favorite shows (and a few brand new ones!!) headed our way, and they’re giving us lots to look forward to. And while nothing can truly replace the hole Chip and Joanna are leaving in my heart, I can’t wait to check these out!
5 Shows To Watch on HGTV This Fall:
5. “Urban Oasis”
This all-new series gives a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to transform a vintage home into a modern, urban oasis. This year’s home is located in Knoxville, Tennessee, and once hosts Egypt Sherrod and Brian Patrick Flynn are done flipping it, they’ll give it away (plus a $50K cash prize) to one lucky winner. The series starts on October 4–enter for a chance to win the house here!
4. “Bus Life Ever”
If you thought tiny homes were a little crazy, then a “skoolie” is going to blow your mind! This show takes us around the country to transform old school buses into homes for real people. This series starts on October 5 and is a must-see!
3. “Rehab Addict”
Rehab Addict returns on October 4 as Nicole Curtis hits Detroit and Minneapolis to revamp historic homes, and we can’t wait to see what this season has in store!
2. “First Time Flippers”
The HGTV website compares this show to the ’90s show “Blind Date,” so you know it’s good. The show shows us two people who’ve never flipped a home as they take on their first project. Oh, and an anonymous narrator provides weird commentary that is described as “sometimes encouraging, sometimes not.” You can catch this starting October 7 on the DIY Network
