Busy mornings are a part of life no matter how old or young you are. Unfortunately, skipped breakfasts also become the norm with all of us rushing to work, school, and other obligations. Don’t kiss your breakfast goodbye for good, though.

This easy 5 ingredient overnight oat recipe takes only 5 minutes to throw together. Stuff it in a mason jar, and make your mornings a snap. Check it out.


  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
  • 3/4 Tbsp (9 g) chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp (32 g) natural salted peanut butter or almond butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup (45 g) gluten free rolled oats
Combine all ingredients in a mason jar and stir, making sure oats are covered. You don’t have to stir the peanut butter completely in if you like swirls of it instead. Refrigerate overnight, serve, and enjoy! It’s that easy.
