Joanna Gaines has designed some incredibly beautiful spaces for people on “Fixer Upper,” including a few kids’ rooms and nurseries that were out-of-this-world. Now, she’s prepping for baby no. 5 which, of course, includes setting up a new nursery at their Waco farmhouse.
In an interview with CountryLiving.com, Chip opened up about Joanna’s progress on the nursery.
Chip and Joanna already have four kids: Drake, Ella, Duke and Emmie. With Emmie being the youngest at 8-years-old, Chip says they’ve had a blast designing and planning a nursery for themselves for the first time in a while.
“Jo has had a ball working on the nursery,” Chip said. “It’s been eight years since we’ve done a nursery for ourselves, and she’s really been having fun with picking out details like colors and bedding and the crib.”
He said she’s even debating on whether or not she wants to use some of her own Magnolia-brand wallpaper in the baby’s room.
“Jo is still trying to decide if she wants to hang some of her wallpaper on the walls and what kind of rocker she wants,” Chip says. “We’re still right in the middle of it all, but I have no doubt that when Jo gets finished with it, it’ll be the most beautiful room in the whole house.”
Chip and Joanna announced that they were pregnant with baby no. 5 soon after announcing the end of “Fixer Upper,” and it was a surprise Joanna said they were both thrilled about.
