I’m a complete sucker for houseplants, and succulents are one of my all-time favorites. Mix them with little fall flare and you’ve got a perfect weekend craft!

These DIY pumpkin succulent planters are honestly one of the coolest fall crafts I’ve ever seen, and they’re really easy to make! Not to mention, they’re so much more unique than all of the been-there-done-that fall decor you see year after year.

Here’s How To Make a DIY Pumpkin Succulent Planter:

Supplies:

  • Pumpkin (white will make the succulents pop!)
  • Large knife
  • Paring knife
  • Assorted succulents
Directions:
Cut the top off of your pumpkin just like you would if you were going to carve it. Once you remove the top, you can start planting! Just take the succulent and drop it into the pumpkin, leaving the insides of the pumpkin there (it helps keep the succulents moist). Continue to plant succulents until you reach the look you desire!
