Ree Drummond Stocked Up On Lip Gloss, Butter and Stretchy Pants to Film Her Food Network Show and We Love Her For It

-

Ree Drummond is always keeping things real, and it’s one of the reasons she’s my favorite chef on Food Network (and just one of my favorite people in general). She’s always sharing behind-the-scenes looks at life on the ranch, the filming of her shows, photoshoots and just general life, but her latest update about her new season of “The Pioneer Woman” on Food Network might be one of our favorites yet…and one of the most promising.

“I started filming a new season of Pioneer Woman today, and I’m excited! I made sure to get up at 4:30 am so I could read my bible, make myself an extra large coffee, find my favorite lip gloss and locate my elastic waist jeans, because Lord knows I’m gonna need ’em all,” she shared. She also shared on her Instagram story that she stocked up on butter, too.

I mean, all of those things are signs of a really good (and really delicious) season of “The Pioneer Woman” ahead. Aside from filming her new season, she’s in the process of opening a hotel in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and she recently launched her new cookbook, “Come and Get It.” She also recently opened up about the unexpected death of her nephew and how she’s dealing with the season of loss.
