- 2 cups all-purpose flour (10 oz)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2.5 oz grated cheddar cheese
- 3 scallions, chopped
Place in waffle iron and cook for 5 minutes. Place on wire rack in oven when done, to allow steam to escape.
