Californians Try Southern Food For the First Time

Down here in the south, we’re used to things being slathered in butter, salt, gravy, bacon and fat — and that’s definitely not a bad thing.

But elsewhere in the United States, where people are all but banned from eating anything with carbs or calories (aka California), indulging in some of our favorite southern foods is something like a once in a lifetime experience.

So, when these people tried things like okra, country ham and Moon Pies for the first time, they were obviously like, “Woah, where has this been my whole life?”
